Who else likes this song? What do you think of it's message?
Lyrics:
I'm walking through your streets
Where all your money's earning
Where all your buildings crying
And clueless neckties working
Revolving fake lawn houses
Housing all your fears
Desensitized by T.V.

Overbearing advertising
God of consumers
And all your crooked pictures looking good
Mirrors filtering information through the public eye
Designed for profit sharing
Your neighbor, what a guy

Modern globalization
Coupled with condomations
Unnecessary death
Matador corporations
Puppeting your frustrations with a blinded flag
Manufacturing consent is the name of the game
The bottom line is money nobody gives a fsck

4000 hungry children
Leave us per hour from starvation
While billions are spent on bombs
Creating death showers

Bleh. Personally, I can't stand supposed depressing scream-parties. I'll sit here and be content with Crystl Method - PHD blasting.

Did that songwriter fail English? Maybe I just don't get the 'art' or the 'poetry' behind the words...but I thought RATM did a much better job of communicating the same message.

That's a great song too:)

UncJigga, it is an unreleased song, so it may never find it's way onto an album, where it is considered the artist's final work. RATM was great too, but I like System of a Down's style of music better. Prison System is another one of SOAD's great songs.

EDIT: Nevermind, no thread hijacking tonight.

I think System of a Down has some decent music, but their "messages" aren't very interesting to me..

Commom Truth? Is that one of the unreleased ones?
No, they don't have a new album out yet.

yeah, I came across some unreleased songs once, only managed to download 5 or so. Apperantly they gave out unmastered, unrelased songs on some of their concerts.

I like some of SOAD's songs but I dont get the messages they try to send sometime. Take Toxicity for instance:

"Conversion, software version 7.0,
Looking at life through the eyes of a tire hub,
Eating seeds as a past time activity,"

what does that have to do with anything?
