system not working

the other day i decided to switch cases. After switching cases i ran into some problems. Since i switched my case my computer doesnt want to power up and show anything on the screen and the hard drives make a funny noise. My system has 2 sata drives 1 200gb and 1 250GB and it is a fx-53 s939 with a x800xt video card. everything was connected as before. I tried reseting the cmos but didnt have any luck. I also tried different variations of the hard drive. Also my cd roms dont open on power up. Any suggestions?
