I built this system 2.5 years ago and it has functioned perfectly so far. It was working fine until 3 hours ago when I unplugged everything so I could take it outside and blow out the dust with air in a can. I brought it back and plugged everything back in but the system no longer boots. When I plug in the power cord in the network light on the back flashes once and on the mobo itself the standby light and dram power light are both on. Using the external power switch or the power switch on the mobo itself causes nothing to happen.

I unplugged amm the HDDs, dvd drie, took out the video card, and still nothing. Was thinking maybe something was causing a circuit to be jumped r whatever. On the back there is NOTHING connected but the power cord.

What could be it? I work 15+ hours a day and don't have a day off until Thursday so I do not have the time to completly take apart the system and rebuild it and have it still not turn on.

I've been seeing a lot of Antec PSU's just giving up the ghost, I have a 450watt that I've had less than a year and they refuse to replace it. if you have access to another pc that can use the components, I would test them in it. I would also suggest you manually check the voltages of the PSU with a multimeter.

seems there are 2 SLI-DR motherboards, which one is yours?

if it is this one you need to make sue the 2 pin, molex and 12v pin pin are plugged in.

if it is this one you need to make sure the 24 pin and 12v 8pin are plugged in.

Yups turned out to be the PSU. It did last 3 years but to be honest I have never had a PSU die before not even the cheapies.
I work at Best Buy during the day so i just bought a 700w Rocketfish (best buy brand) to test it and that was the problem. Cheap PSU since normal price is $170 and I got it for $58, will need to get somethign else though that is modular and quieter

Yeah, I've seen a Dell motherboard that had a lit power LED onboard, but the power supply was bad anyway. LEDs and most logic devices are 5V or less devices. If the 12V power supply rails are dead, the PC won't work.

PC power and Cooling makes the best PSU's. you'll have to hit up ZipZoomFly or newegg to get one. I'd stick to the 650-700watt range.
