Tested this app on two pc's and it found more junk than CCleaner. Try it.

I have many multifunction cleaning apps, each carefully chosen, and I always retain CCleaner.

I use it first, sometimes in tandem with the others.

It's not either/or in this arena; it's not like AV apps where we can only run one.

I especially like W7 Manager and Glary.

I use it side by side with CCleaner. I find it does a better job at cleaning out some the APP data folders especially when it comes to Chrome.

A decent program worth keeping imo. Berryracer recommended it a year or so ago and I've used it ever since.

I got it I tested it, I uninstalled it.

Re junk files, it found like 1300.....including it appeared many jpg files which, cause I have some in more than once place and I chose to do that.....it wanted to dump.

Mind you, you can't configure it to ignore what it thinks are dup files! This app is Draconian.

For me, right there= DEAL BREAKER.

I have other apps which find everything this does and more, but which are also configurable. W7 Manager has a separate category for dupe files, another for empty foldesr, etc.

But it is not free. Some things are worth paying for.

Does it create a Registry backup like CCleaner prior to cleansing? If not, that is a major fault.

The two I use are CCleaner and Glary's Utilities 4 free version(great program) between them they seem to cover most of the leftover crap not needed, never had any issues with either of them even on Win8.1.

Excellent point re another deal breaker. I only had it briefly and uninstalled it after I ran it and would not let it remove one file it found/targeted as JUNK.....given it arrogantly assumed I wanted to delete what it appeared dup pic/jpg files.

I did not see the vital option you mention, nor is it normally, prudently configurable in other ways.

All my other multifunction cleaning apps ARE.

To give visuals for anyone about to get this and run it, and let it dump what IT is convinced needs to be dumped, I got the thing again, ran it, and made a couple of screenies.

This time it found what It decided were just under 1K JUNK FILES.......Corky is right: no backup the registry option at all; it just DECIDES FOR YOU, and, again, I often put pics different places, so, while technically, they may be dups, actually, they are anything but. I do things purposefully to suit my needs.

There is no option to configure anything important!

Sorry, guys, this is a Fascistic, insensitive, arrogant, not safe, badly written app, and no way would I let it remove diddly, go along with what IT "decides".....or keep it in this system.

I will now uninstall this new one.
