for the past 2 weeks about now, ive been having a lockup problem. it only happens after the computer's been on for a while, and after ive been using programs. this only happens when i exit programs too... either some of the icons on the desktop will dissappear, and on the start bar, it will show my program still open. i can move the mouse, but if i click the speaker onboard beeps and then it completley locks up for 10 seconds. the other thing it does, it will close the program, and everything will look normal, but if i click it locksup and i gotta wait another 10 seconds.
i ran memtest, and got 2 passes, but im gonna run it when i go to work, today so it will have a chance to test for awhile. all the temps check out, ive done virus and spyware checks, ive defraged, and reformatted my hdd, and nothing is overheating.
i really dont know what to do from here, and any help would be great.

amd athlon 64 x2 3800+
corsair ddr2 675 2gb
sapphire x1900xt
sb x-fi xm
antec truepower 550w
wd 160gb hdd
