System Lockups

I recently built a new system (see below) and it ran great for a week then it started randomly locking up.
It wouldn't boot unless I let it sit for a few minutes then it would boot fine which makes it seem like a heat issue. I have 1 side case fan blowing in on the video card and NB 2 front fans blowing in over HD and 2 rear fans blowing out. CPU temps are good (38C idle 50C load) system 35C room temp is around 24C. but I just noticed my videocard and NB were very warm (possible cause of lockups?).
And the motherboard is very warm around the back of the AGP slot.
Is this normal?
Please help I'm very confused over this.
