System locks when running Direct3D test in dxdiag.

My TnT2 Ultra always had that problem and I always had a heck of a time getting it to run Half-Life. It wound up being the drivers I think. Sorry I can't be more helpful, but that was a while ago... 😉
 
Its a driver issue, had the same thing happen here when I installed the 3.8 drivers recently, I switched to the Omega drivers and all is well.
