System locks during DVD playback w/GF2.

Whenever I'm running a DVD or basically any video files(avi's, .mov, mpeg, etc) my system will lock, usually to a black screen with little horizontal green lines at the top of the screen. This will happen about 70-80% of the time. I've tried many different drivers and settings, different AGP apeture sizes and drive strengths, AGP 2x and 4x.
I'm running a GF2 not overclocked.
Any suggestions?
 
Yes I did, three different ones to be exact. I don't think it's the DVD player. Like I said it happens basically with any video format.
