System keeps BSOD'ing

So I've gotten IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD's for the past 2 weeks, and they've been very frequent (last night, I got 3 of them). So, I downloaded WhoCrashed, and it shows the source of the blue screens is the Via Raid Driver. The whole thing's below:

On Thu 7/9/2009 7:32:08 AM your computer crashed
This was likely caused by the following module: vsmraid.sys
Bugcheck code: 0xD1 (0x149, 0x7, 0x1, 0x82B7F662)
Error: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\vsmraid.sys
product: VIA RAID driver
company: VIA Technologies Inc.,Ltd
description: VIA RAID DRIVER FOR AMD-X86-64

Firstly, my system is not an AMD; it's a Pentium 4. Secondly, I don't use RAID, and I don't ever plan to either. So, how would I go about uninstalling this driver? It doesn't show up in Programs and Features in Control Panel, so what can I do?

^thanks a bunch. So I tried disabling the RAID controller; didn't work out too well. So this is my predicament:

After disabling the RAID controller, my SATA drives disappear and are not detected by Windows. However, if I enable the RAID controller, my SATA drives are detected and work properly, but then the computer blue screens every 10 minutes and blames it on the RAID controller (vsmraid.sys). What the hell is going on?

Update the Viaraid driver to the latest version, then see if crashes continue.

Thanks for the hint on WhoCrashed - no more need to step people thru the debugging process! (See .sig ...)
