My mobo: Foxconn 6150BK8MC-KRSHN2 (Socket 939)
My Cpu : Amd 64 X2 3800+
My HSF : Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro
I recently bought the mobo cuz it was on sale. I tried overclocking this sucker and lol can't get it to be stable...cant get it above 230mhz...clocked it at 230mhz and it posted and when I put the cpu under some stress 5-10 mins later gives me the BSOD and reboots. Clock it at 210mhz and reboots under load 30-60 mins later. Can't be my memory holding me back I have OCZ PC4000 ddr500. I guess thats what I get for buying such a cheap board. I could careless about OCing it.
My main problem is getting it stable at stock settings. I put it back to 200mhz (stock) and i'll be listening to music, surfing the web, downloading stuff and all of a sudden it reboots on me. I thought maybe my system was overheating from the summer weather here in southern california....so I checked my temps with everst and it was all wacked out...my cpu temp would jump around from 30c to 5c to 40c and all over the place...so I tried another program called Core Temp and it seems alot more accurate (doesnt jump around). I ran a bunch of programs to see if my temps would go sky high when under load...my temps were at 40c
I have no clue what is making my comp reboot. I'm guessing my temps aren't being read right. SOme one help me out here.
