So here are the final specs:

AMD 3200+ Winnie (Stock Cooling)
Chaintech Ultra 939 mobo
4 X 512 dane-elec DDR400 (please don't ask why)
Rosewill X800XL 256MB Vid Card
2 X 250GB Hitachi SATA HDD
160GB WD PATA HDD
NEC 3500 DVDRW
Aopen 1648/p DVD
Antec NeoPower 480W
Antec Super Lanboy
Old School Razer Boomslang 2000
Dell 20in LCD

The nTune software that is included overclocks the CPU to 2.2 and the ram to 186mHz? can I get more out of this? I have read the guides and usually I understand this stuff quickly, but I think I am missing something here.

Also, system critiques would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Save yourself the headache and don't bother to overclock unless you really know what you're doing or you have a serious need.
More than likely you'll fry something or at the least break something trying to fix a problem that aint broke.

Agreed, I wouldn't want to fry anything. However I would like to overclock this, as it is one of the reasons for the complete overhaul of my old system. It should be able to overclock to ~2.4 safely, right?

My winchester 3200+ overclocks perfectly to 2420, so I see no reason you shouldn't see comparable results. Unless the heavens are after you...

Therein lies the problem, I just don't understand how to get it there... Are there specific settings to run that would get me to ~2.4 or ?

you have to do some math...

FSBxMultiplier=Frequency

dont forget though that its quad pumped

but if you do not know this then do not OC. get to know your stuff better, becuase it seems like you need more experience.
