Epimetreus, there's no need to be rude. He's a junior member with 6 posts. And highly technical could be interpreted to be "highly technical troubleshooting questions".

Goturk, Epi is right. You'd have better luck in General Hardware or Technical Support. Good luck with the problem.

Well, pm, I would say the same thing if it was the first or even 10th time this has happened. However, this is approximatly the 1000th time so it can get a bit annoying. I think we need that sticky back!

goturk, to keep this remotely high tech, let's discuss the tech behind it.

PCI/AGP devices may share interrupts. This is fine, the PCI and AGP specifications explicitly have that a (mandatory) feature.

On the PCI bus vs. Radeon front, this is normal too. When a device on a certain bus wants to use a resource, the chipset needs to be programmed to forward this resource onto the respective bus. So yes, if you see a PCI bus bridge "using" the same resource as a device behind it, this is normal too. The bridge is just FORWARDING the resource, and the device USES it then. (AGP busses look like PCI busses in this regard.)
