Going to use the 250GB hard drive and Radeon 9500 Pro that I already have, so no need for upgrades, really. Not going to be overclocking or anything like that so I figured this was good enough. Any suggestions?

Also. Round cables, yay or nay?

Looks great. I was worried about the RAM, but the link goes to carsair, which should be fine. Also, I don't know much about the gigabyte board, but I personally chose the Epox 9NDA3+. If you aren't OCing and don't need any frills, the gigabyte should be fine...

For memory go with this: http://www.newegg.com/app/view...description=20-145-440 (it has almost the same specs, and is a well-known good brand)

For a motherboard, yes that would be better than the Gigabyte one, but I'd suggest the Neo2 Platinum from MSI instead. nForce 0wnz all, especially VIA.

I had that memory at first but I went with the Kingmax to save a few bucks. Still undecided there. Also, I don't know about the Platinum. I'm trying to keep this as cheap as I can. 🙂

I agree with flaming spinach; go with the Corsair value RAM. As for the mobo, either and ASUS A8V or the MSI Neo2 Platinum, even if it is a few bucks more. As for rounded cables; well, that is really up to you and how much time you want to invest in cable management. You can successfully hide virtually all traces of ribbon wired if you can route them correctly.

Eh. The Radeon 9500 Pro still does what I want it to do. Probably won't upgrade until later this year or so. 🙂

edit: If I'm not mistaken, the Kingmax has better latency or does that not matter all that much?
