My system is loaded as follows...

AMD Dual Core Opteron 165 @ 2.7GHz (300 x 9)
2 x 1GB OCZ Platinum DDR 3200 @ 225MHz, 2.5-3-3-8
DFI LanParty NF4 Ultra SLI-DR
eVGA 7900GT @ 700/1700
Fresh install of XP Pro

Here's the situation: Currently several programs and games hang but recover in about 15-30 seconds. For instance, Netscape will hang every couple of minutes, EU3 will hang once and then be fine, IE6 never hangs. I'm experiencing no other instability. Orthos runs fine for hours.

What I've tried...

Loosen the RAM timings
Reduce the clock speed
Increase CPU, RAM and chipset voltages

What might the problem be? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks guys. I haven't had a chance to work on it yet. Reseating the memory modules sounds like a good idea. Memtest run funs fine and I doubt it's overheating -- temps are fine and it happens from start up.

Now have you tried running your cpu at default speeds and voltage?? Or have you simply overclocked it less??
