Hi, was hoping to get some suggestions for my current problem :-/ Currently my system refuses to boot up. This is what i am currently running:
MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum/SLI
AMD 3500+
BFG 7800GT OC
1GB Corsair XMS 3200 DDR
300GB Seagate HD
The problem as i can best describe it is that the system turns "on" (fans whirl, lights flash, etc...) but there is not post or video. The hd light stays on, but i hear hard drive noise, no video, nothing. what i have tried so far is entirely based on the results in get from the
"D-Bracket" on my motherboard (a MSI pci slot bracket that has 4 diagnostic LED's on it) and what i have read on these forums. According to the LED's display, something is wrong with memory. i swapped on each stick of 512, booting up them individually and have tried booting up with different memory. Since there is no video, i also tried booting up with no video card. With no video card i get a different set of LED's and some POST beeps (1 long, 2 short, which i
think means a video problem right?). I have also cleared the CMOS, still no results. Any tips, suggestions and or advice would be greatly appreciated.
