I think I may have posted this wrong the last time so here goes again:
I hope someone out there can give me a hand. My system had started running slow. Ie. when I right click on "Start" to use Explorer, it takes about 30 seconds to open the Start menu. I scanned my hard drive (it found some errors and fixed them) and then I ran scandisk. For the first hour or so, the problem seemed to be fixed. But, now my problem is worse! I have my original problem back plus now the whole system freezes at least a few times a day.
I am online most of the time - using mail program (Eudora) and the internet. If I get disconnected from my server and try to reconnect, my system reconnects and then freezes. I hit cont/alt/del and it shows that Msgsrv32 (not responding). At this point I can do nothing but manually shutdown the computer (which isn't good!). I have not installed any new software or hardware in the last 6 months. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
