My home rig is running Windows 8 on a 128GB 830 boot drive. About every other time I boot up my computer will hang for ~5-15 seconds before any keystrokes or mouse clicks register. This includes both hitting the windows key and clicking on the desktop icon. I can't search or open any other apps either. I can move my mouse around.
For whatever reason I am convinced that this is my boot drive. I'm looking to upgrade to an Intel DC S3500 (for peace of mind and IO consistency) but until I can get that drive is there anything I can do to fix my problem, or am I completely barking up the wrong tree?
