System Extension Cords?

Wondering if its possible to get an extension cord, or extended cord for the audio/video [red yellow white] cable for xbox....probably a dumb question, but my computer plays brand new cds like I scratched the $#$# out of them, and surround for DvDs is a must for me....but the main speaker [to plug the red/white cords into] is next to my computer and has no chance of reaching the other side of my room [not a very big room....just a few feet, but it still cant reach [need to have the video[yellow] plugged in and the red/white going to the other side of the room]

With older systems the cords could just come apart so it wasnt a problem....no chance of doing it with the box though 🙁

Anyhelp?

i'd worry about why the hell your audio sounds like crap. and yeah, you can use extensions. you can get them at radioshack, or www.partsexpress.com or your favorite store or whatever

you can also get something like this http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00005R6YZ
that allows you to use real audio patch cables... (note the depicted item is not what you are looking for since it has component video)

PartsExpress.com is probably the cheapest place to get them.

If you don't want to bother ordering something and you can't find an RCA A/V extention cable, you could just get a regular RCA cable and buy some female/female connectors to plug the two cables together.

Not sure why it sounds like crap...but its done it since I got this computer [5 years or so...maybe 4]

Perhaps because its a no name dell player? 😀

Its crystal clear on anything else though
