Hi,
I'm new to this area, but have just built a computer:
Abit KT7 Raid
AMD Duron 600 (previously stable at 110x8.5)
ibm deskstar 75gxp 15gb
128mb pc133 generic ram
monster sound mx300 using vortex drivers
aztech 56k modem
vanta tnt2 8mb agp card with detonator drivers
hp 9100i cdwriter
windows 98 2nd revision
250w atx midtower case

When I first got this thing up and running, it worked fine for about one week then after powering on the system from off, the lights come on the system, an initial whirl of the fans but nothing appears on the monitor and nothing boots from there. If I hit reset, the system boots perfectly and runs without flaw. Can't figure this out. Have tried changes in the bios, but nothing seems to help. Have removed the modem/sound card without remedy. Is there a setting I'm missing? Is the motherboard messing up.....the case? Please give me some advice.
Thanks,

Mark
