I have been having occasional system crashes for a few weeks now. I haven't had the time to spend checking things out. I came home tonight and had to use the reset again and found the bios was basicly reset. I went in and let it use defalt values and booted. I did finally get a report from microsoft when it uploaded the error a few days ago that said it was power supply, CPU, or MB.

Anyhow when I fired up the system I fired up mother board monitor and checked the voltages. It is showing core 0 1.34V and core 1 is showing 2.61V. I am not sure which one is where it is supposed to be. Would this be a PS problem do you think?

I have an abit KN8 sli and an opteron 65. I am leaning toward PS myself since I had one go bad on me in my other computer a month or so ago. Maybe I am hoping more than anything. Any opinions?

Any opinions on what PS I should get. I want to go to BM store and pick one up. I don't want to wait on mail order.

I thought I had this figured out. When I wrote the OP I really didn't check over all the voltages. Later I noticed that the -12V was only running at -7V. I figured this was way out of tolerence. I bought a new power supply today and just finished installing it. I powered on and checked the voltages and the -12V is still showing -7V. WTF Is this normal? I never really paid any attention to the voltages before.

Well I am going to let her run a while. I still hope the PS fixes the problems I have been having. Just a little baffled on the voltage.
