I have been experiencing a system crashes off and on and usually get the system driver error message where it can't locate the exact cause. Well tonight it crashed again with:

Hardware Failure: Contact Original Equipment Manufacturer

Thank you for submitting an error report. The error was likely caused by:

A hardware failure reported by your Central Processing Unit (CPU)

This behavior occurs because your computer processor detected an unrecoverable hardware error and reported it to Windows. For more information, contact the manufacturer of your computer.

NOTE: As a general rule, Microsoft recommends you backup your files on a regular basis in case of any unexpected hardware failures.

Anyone have any ideas? I followed the MS instrucitons on removing the IOMEGA driver that was found to be causing them at first but this one has me confused, CPU error?

Might be RAM - try swapping some of it out.. If you keep getting different errors at different times running different things, then it's more than likely RAM.
