System Crashes

I am running a 1.2GHZ T-Bird (9x133) on a MSI K7T Turbo Motherbaord with an Elsa Gladiac Ultra under windows 2000. When I try to run 3DMark 2001 I get throug the first few tests and then my system freezes and I have to hit reset. But when I hit reset everything boots up but my monitor stays off and won't come back on, and my hard drive light stays lit. I have to then cut it off again, and wait for about a minute or two and then cut it back on and everything boots perfectly. I've tried this twice and get the same thing each time. Any help? Thanks.

Interesting... I'm having the same problem. But it will happen in quake also. I've got a Radeon but it hapen with the GTS I've got also. What OS are you running? I'm using Win2K. My MB id the K7TPro2a...

I'm thinking the chipset is overheating.

Anyone else?

Ya, I'm using Windows 2000 also. Would putting a better fna on the chipset be effective?

If your using Win2K make sure you have these installed.... the later one fixed 3DMark lockup for me... the first patch fixed HL and MW4 crashes for me.
