Question System crash, need some help

To be clear, for a clean install, don't partition it within a windows installation. Initializing it won't affect anything though. It won't show in windows file explorer until it's partitioned. If you want to see that it is detected by the system, you can use device manager or disk management.

Thanks for the help, seems every time I think I have a good handle on things I'm learning something else.They say its a good thing to learn something everyday. here its more like I learn something every time I visit.
Now If I can only retain at least half of what I learn I'll be getting somewhere.
