System Cooling...

Hi guys,

I have an Antec 1030, Athlon XP 1700+, and an Epox 8KHA+. The case has 4 fans but I can only use 3 bcause the Epox board only has 3 3-pin fan headers.

My question is, Of the 3 fans which I can use, which config would you guys think is better for system cooling.. 2 intake fans and 1 exhaust, or 1 intake and 2 exhaust?

I would tend to think that the 2 intake setup would be better for cooling. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

From my experience w/ the SX-830...I"ve found that 2 exhausts and one intake work best...

In the 830, the exhausts are right next to the heat sink and i guess pumping out the hot air is more important...

It`s hot in your room, and you have no windows, only one
ventilator that you can adjust to blow in our out, what would you do ?

I think this is the answer 😉
