Things I tried:
1. Opened command prompt, ran: "fsutil dirty query c:" (without quotes) and C is "NOT Dirty".
2. In command prompt, ran: chkdsk c: /f /x
3. C: does not display in Window's "Disk Defragmentor", ran a defrag with "Auglogic Disk Defrag" - no errors.
4. Opened command prompt, ran: "chkntfs /d" (without quotes).
Still happens a lot. It happens most of the time, not everytime like the thread title says (I made a mistake).
Any suggestions?
PS: Doing this on a friends PC, his specs:
-Windows 7-64 bit
-6gb ram
-gtx 470
-i7 920
