System can't detect DVD-ROM

I just set up a system with an Epox 8K7A. I have a hard drive set on primary master and an Aopen 12x DVD-ROM from Newegg set on secondary master.

When the computer boots up, it detects the hard drive just fine. However, it also says:

Pri. Master Disk: LBA,ATA 100,61496 MB
Pri. Slave Disk: None
Sec. Master Disk: None
Sec. Slave Disk: None
--------

Why can't it see the DVD?
 


<< NEVER MIND, I'M STUPID. I pulled out and plugged in the IDE cable again. It works now. Weird. >>



hehe...maybe it had a piece of dust blocking a pin or something. You never know.
