Im getting steady medium length beeps at powerup, nothing shows up on screen.
This is a system i just put together , anyone know what the beeps mean?

System Specs : Duron 950>abit mobo> 10 gig hd> 8 meg vanta vid card >128 meg ram
No O/S loaded yet
Any info greatly appreciated

That's usually a memory problem. Be sure it is in slot 0. Be sure that is is seated firmly. Push hard, you won't break it. Next be sure that your video card is all the way in. If you still have the problem... Take all the pieces off, then reinstall ONLY the Proc, RAM and Video.

It was the ram, wasnt seated properly,Thanks!
Now if i can only get by "Verifying DMI Pool Data" 🙁
The rest of the screen shows CPU ,HD's, Floppy Etc.
