I have the following configuration but my system keep freezing up!

Abit KT7-Raid
Duron rated 1GHz @ 1.8v, FSB=100 + 5 offset, multiplier = 9.5
(also try from 1.65-1.85v, the lower the Vcore, the more likely it's going to hang)
Mushkin 128MB PC133 CL3 SDRAM, set at CAS=3
CPU temperature is 44-49 degree celsius in average (using Taisol cooler)
Running WinME.

I usually leave my computer running for the whole day. It hang when WinME OpenGL screen saver is activated on for several minutes/hours. But something everything seems to be fine. What setting do I miss? Any hint to make it more stable?

Thanks

try lowering the fsb to see if it's that...my system won't do 104 up...with 100% stability...
that's all i could think of right now...
might want to jump the i/o voltage to 3.4 for stability
what are your bios settings? the enhance chip performace, dram bank interleave, etc....

I have the following:

Multiplier = x9.5 (won't boot at x10)
FSB/PCI = 100/133
FSB offset = 5 (can up to 8 maximum for my case)
CPU speed => 1000Mhz right now

V core = 1.8
V I/o = 3.3
Fast CPU Command Decode = Normal (will hang more often if set to fast)
CPU Drive Strength = 2
Enhance Chip Performance = Enable
Force 4-Way Interleave = Enable
Enablue Dram 4k-Page mode = Enable
DRAM Clock = Host CLK

SDRAM Speed = Fast (not Turbo)
CAS = set to 3

Try raising the CPU voltage to 1.85. Most Duron's at 1Ghz require more than 1.85 voltage. My Tbird is running at 1.85 currently for 1Ghz, at 1.8v it isn't completely stable.

if you really want the 105 up there...try jumping the cpu drive strength to 3
did you try running the DRAM Clock = Host CLK/plck (or something like that)
this runs the ram @ 133 i found mine to be more stable in this setting
try running the SDRAM Speed = Normal (in some cases fast is FASTER than turbo)

oh...i think it is
100/33 not 100/133

If it hangs on the OpenGL screensaver, it's probably a driver problem. Make sure you have the latest VIA 4-in-1 and the AGP patch as well as the latest drivers for your video. Card.

Do you have the same problems at lower clock speeds?
