I am looking to upgrade a computer. I mainly use it for 3D design (3ds max, cinema 4d, flash, etc...) Currently i have:

AMD 64 3000+
MSI K8N Neo
2 gigs ram (have another 1 gig laying around that i can put in it)
Radeon x800
300gig seagate hd
250gig western digital
ROSEWILL RP550 powersupply
plextor 712A dvd

I guess i mainly just need to upgrade my video card? Will that powersupply handle a stronger vid card? I'm also about to replace my old Panasonic 21" crt with the 24" Dell LCD (I felt the 30" might be too big for 3D design stuff, would have to sit further back from it?)

Hm... find out who makes that Rosewill, and then you'll get a better idea of how good it is. I'd also suggest upgrading the CPU on your system.
 
Whats a good video card for the money to upgrade the x800 with? Something that will do well on rendering... And should I do dual cards? or no?
