I'm building a computer for my friends business:

22" Acer
250gb Seagate SATA HD
AMD 64 5000+ Brisbane 2.4ghz
2x2gb G.Skill
Asus DVD Burner
Logitech R-10 Speakers
Rosewill TU-155 Black Case (with 400w PS)
Vista 32 Ultimate
Logitech Wireless Keyboard and mouse

and was planning on running it on Asus M2A-VM Motherboard (i always heard Asus had good warranty?) Do you reccomend a better board? Should i get one with onboard video or seperate graphics card??

Any suggestions?

For a low-end machine, which is all you really need for what you want to do, it's tough to beat the prices of a place like Dell or HP.

And get MS Office pre-installed, if that's what they are going to use. It costs more to order Office separately and install it than it does to just get it pre-installed from Dell.

If you are going to do any graphics, don't bother with onboard video, just get something cheap with about 256mb or so of video memory.

For office applications I find a low-end core 2 duo is a great solution. No need to get the latest and greatest, unless you are crunching all the time or gaming.

2x1GB Ram will be plenty, unless you have some specific resource hungry application in mind. But it's not much more expensive to get 2x2GB these days, your choice (even though vista32 will not see it all)
