.sys driver problem

When I boot up my computer in Window's XP, I get this message at the beginning. It tell's me that " the DLL attempted to create the .sys driver as a service and failed."
what is wrong with my computer?

We could use a little more info on your system. Did you recently install software, do hardware upgrades, what operating system, how long has this been going on?

Also, after you installed XP, did it work at first and now you get the error or have you gotten the error since the first reboot? Did any drivers change that caused the error?

after i installed windows xp . . .i think it worked for a little while, then it jsut came up with this ".the DLL attempted to create the .sys driver as a service and failed.'

my system is an 800 mhz celeron. with windows xp.

Running Motherboard Monitor by any chance? If so, open it up and uncheck "Start MBM together with Windows." Restart the computer, open MBM back up and re-check "Start MBM together with Windows."
