Syquest 270 ATA/IDE Jumper settings

A friend of mine gave me one of his ATA (IDE) Syquest 270 drives that he uses in multiple computers. I have some space in an empty removeable drive bay. But, we don't know what the jumper settings are.

There's a label on a chip that says "Master/Slave E1" and it points to a row of jumpers. Does anyone know what each jumper is for?

Thanks.

Nevermind; I did get it working on the first jumper setting (which must be master.) It's a PIO mode drive, so I won't be using it that often unless I really have to.
