Synthetic Oil vs Regular Engine Oil

Do you use Synthetic Oil on your vehicle? Or Do you use Regular Engine Oil?

If so, what brand and grade are you using?
How often do you change it?

I am planning on switching to AMSOIL 10W30 for my Chrysler Lebaron 92 and Chrysler T&C 01.

I just use regular. Synthetic is better but its not that much better unless you planning on doing extended drain intervels its just not worth it. I have ran it in my turbo caravan but the turbo lived for 140k with regular without cooldowns so I figure it can live a while longer on it and when it does blow its a good excuse to upgrade.

Presently using Regular in my pold Accord.

My son just bought a used recent model Acura RSX. Think about using Synthetic in it. Pep Boys has a special on Castrol Synthetic oil change for $32 AR. Possibly may have it done there.

I just use regular mobil 10-30 oil. My engine already has 180k miles switching to synthetic won't do anything.

actually, castrol does make castor bean oil for car/motorcycle engine. That's how they got their name. 😛

You smell it a lot at vintage races - smells good. Those vintage guys are addicted to it.
