This TV is still about $390+ at Amazon, but Amazon also offers the same product through other distributors such as Tiger Direct.

Tiger Direct has the TV for $340 - $70 MIR. The rebate is being offered through On Rebate, and it's not clear to me if this is the same company that so many complain about not honoring Tiger Direct rebates.

Several Syntax Group rebates are offered through On Rebate. It's not clear from the rebate terms whether the TV has to be bought through Tiger Direct to qualify.

I would not recommend this TV to anyone, even at $250. The resolution is very lacking, and since you can find plenty of 20" LCD monitors with much better quality and resolution for $299-450, you'd be better off getting one of them and either an external converter box or a TV tuner.
