Synology 1511+ - Printers?

Hey guys.

I just got the Synology 1511+ and it works GREAT. Only problem is, even though I can attach my USB printer to the box, and it sees it, and I can install it using its web-based BIOS/OS, my Windows 7 machine seems to have problems with it.

1st: It can see it, and I can tell it to make it the default printer, but nothing GOES to it when I ask.

2nd: When I restart my W7 machine, it takes FOREVER to start up. I removed the printer from the list and "POP" it starts up in less than 7 seconds again.

Any clue what is causing this? I would like to have that printer on as a net printer, it would help a lot!
