Syncronizing Folders..

dawks

Diamond Member
I have to computers here, one of which I do 95% of my work/homework on. I would like to keep Computer A's 'My Documents' syncronized with a folder on Computer B.

Is there an easier, more automatic way, then Select All > Copy > Navigate > Paste > Acknowlege Prompts..

I tried 'My Breifcase' but I dont know how to set it up. I cant get it to work properly.

Certainly does relate to the OS and if no one visited the software forum why would there be one.

😛

Try Google.

The idea is having sort of an automatic backup. Computer B will hold a copy of all the documents on computer a. Computer B also has a CD Burner for a more long term backup solution. As I understand 'My Briefcase' would work, but I dont know how to configure it. If someone has some experience with this, and could lend a hand, that would be nice 😀

This really is not an OS issue. It has nothing to do with the OS. This issue would exsist regaurdless of the OS I use, be it Windows 98, Windows Server 2003, Redhat 7.3, or OS 10.0.2 for example.

So you want two my document folders, but both should contain the same items? If I saved File1.txt on Computer A, it should also be saved on Computer B.
