I have a SyncMaster 710T now and really love it, but I want to upgrade to a newer panel 19" LCD. The 940BF has a response time to 2ms and the 960ms has a response time of 4ms, so both "should be" fine for games. My 710T is a 12ms panel and I have no ghosting at all.
Here's the issue. Review on the 740BF are great, but it seems most reviews of the 960 say the ghosting is terrible. I can't see the 960 with a 4ms being horrible for gaming or movies. Maybe there is something I don't understand about the panel types between these two LCDs.
Does anyone have the 960 and can speak to gaming (CSS) with it?
I'm looking for a great balance between gaming and working on digital pictures (great color reproduction and clarity).
Thanks.
