Syncing Outlook between Desktop and Laptop

My mom uses Outlook 2003 and both her Desktop and Laptop. She goes back and forth between them very often. She needs her Contacts, Calendar and email easily transferable across the home network. She?s very computer illiterate and really just needs to be able to click on something and have it work in the background.

What would you recommend for a synchronization program for this? Something that will run over the network, not have to use additional cables.

Preferably it would be something that ?Merges? the two. For example she sends a few emails and makes a calendar appointments on the desktop, then the next day moves to the laptop and does the same without syncing. Then the info from both systems is merged into one.

TIA from Mom!

EDIT: what I would really like here is some imput from people that have used a program that does this and can reccomend it or say to stay away from it.

Its microsoft's online training. They have had it for a little while.
If this particular page is no good for you, I'm sure a little searching will unearth your answers.

(P.S. always try to do a search at all the relavant sites before starting a new thread. I suspect this is why you didnt get help right away.)

Hey ASS, why don't you go back and read my question, ask for clarification if you need it. What I need is not a regular option on Outlook. It will need a third party program to do it. I was just wondering if ianybody had a rocemendation on a program that would do what I want.

If you don't have a suggestion, STFU. I did search, i'm not a newb.

I asked a simple question. He came back and tried to make me look stupid by posting a link to a freaking training site that was totally unrelated anyway. Screw him.

Was I rude? Sure. Did he deserve it? Sure.

You see, there's this really neat search engine called Google. And if you the type key words of the subject matter you're after into it......in your case I'd choose something like, desktop laptop sync, it will give you a list of information as long as your leg .

And even better is the search function on this forum: Look here, here, here, etc.etc.etc.etc.etc.

Stop being lazy.

Dude, that's crazy talk!!! Admit it, you just made that sh*t up!

The reason I posted the question is so that I could HOPEFULLY get informed answers about a product that works well and does what the makers says it does. As i'm sure all you search-engine educated people know, just because they SAY it does something does not mean it actually does it, or does it well.

I was hoping to get answers from soebody that had used a program, not from a bunch of fools that want to "Bash the newb for not searching".

JJ, I do appreciate the links... The first two don't apply and the third (which I already had looked at)merely takes me to the software co's website. Once again, i'm looking more for personal experience. You used either of them?
