i've asked this about a year ago, and nobody really replied... so i'll ask it again now :p

is there a way i can access and update my schedule and contacts info in outlook via multiple computers (that aren't on the same network)? basically, i'd like to be able to make changes on my computer at home, have it automatically save on some server, and be able to retrieve that info from another computer at school.

and i know i can sync with a pda... but that's not the same :p

Not sure about outlook but there are many "contact management" software programs that will do this.

Goldmine and Maximizer come to mind.

You can setup an exchange server and access it via a web browser. A company I worked for did that and it was VERY handy.

gopunk, shouldn't you be using Pine? You're defecting from your school! You have no team spirit!

J/K, but I have no clue how to do it over the Internet. Here's a bump for ya.

In Outlook, you have an option to publish the free/busy information, but that's all I can find. I'd like to know how to do this too. So bump and I'm subscribed...

haha well to tell you the truth, my school is examining options regarding that right now. it's starting to look like it might have to be developed in-house, because no outside solutions are acceptable.

anywho, bump for the night people

and isn't running an exchange server a lot of trouble? i think i read somewhere that it was... like places running exchange servers should have one exchange specialist dedicated to it or something.
