Synchronizing files betweeen 2 computers

A friend of mine would like to sync files in a certain folder between his Win '95 and Win '98 machine. What program can help him achieve this automatically (i.e. scheduling the synchronizing of the content of a folder between the 2 machines) , without minimal user.
intervention?

The easiest way isn't syncing files at all. There are programs out there that do that, but they'll cost a lot of money. The best thing for him to do is to create a folder on one computer (98 would be the easiest one) and share the folder. Then he can map a network drive from the other computer and both systems will have access to the folder.
The best tutorial I could find on short notice.
Pass that along to him and if he needs us, we'll be here. 🙂

Another easy way is to network the two computers and simply copy the files from one to the other - Explorer will do it just fine. And, there are also pretty good "sneaker net" tools as well, such as pen or key USN drives. You can get the file from one machine onto a 128 MB key drive, then move it to the other machine and copy them into the folder you want.

Compact Flash and other large capacity media also work - as to Zip drives, LS-120, etc.
