sync software

I have a laptop and a desktop that I'd like to keep synced up (at least a couple of folders anyway). There's tons of software out there, but I'd prefer to avoid a trial and error kind of thing if I can. Can anyone suggest some good software?

thanks!

well -- I checked out some of the suggestions:

ICE Mirror seems to be a uni-directional synch tool, which, while useful in some applications, doesn't work for me.
Allway Sync has a 20,000 file limit per 30 days unless you pay -- which i'd do, but i feel like somebody has to do this for free.

I'm using MS Synctoy right now, and while it doesn't really have (any) features, it seems to work relatively well... So that's what i'm stuck with for the moment.

Have you looked into using ms's offline file capabilities? It's built into xp.

Offline files are good if you want to keep the latest version and if you want to keep the files in their original places.

If you need something for personal use, I highly recommend SyncBackSE. It's very feature rich and intuitive, but lacks the ability to run as a service.
