Sync-ing two computers info.....

Ok, I have asked a lot of people this question, and no one can give me a good answer. I recently got a new laptop, and I want to be able to sync certain files (.pst, certain folders, docs, etc)with my desktop. Actually, want I want to do would be similar to what MS sync does for my pocket PC. To give you a little background, I have a w2k pro desktop and a 98se laptop. I am connect to cable(att @home) through a router to a 5 port hub. Is there a good program out there to achieve this? The main reason I want to do this is, when I am mobile I check my email on my laptop, and when I am home I use my desktop... but I want the two to be exact clones of one another when they are connected to the newtwork and update what the other machine does or doesnt have.

regards,

noodle
