should i have sync data transfer on for my LG 52x Max cdrom?

If you take a look at the command description...
"This option is for SCSI devices only. By default, it is enabled for disks and disabled for CD-ROMS. This option should not be changed if your SCSI device works correctly."

Basically, I think the phrase, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" applies. Does your cd-rom drive work?
