From what I know of the technology, would a PDA or Table PC stylus work on the surface of the touchpad without damaging it? Would the magnetic tip damage my notebook in anyway? Magnets are the only way I can think of that would displace the electric grid under the mouse pad surface.
The reason I ask is I want to be able to draw simple shapes and diagrams into my notes but to buy a seperate styles and pad would be too cumbersome and expensive, and drawing with a pen is better then a mouse anyways. Plus there's not much room on my desk except for my notebook.
