-Intelli Mouse Explorer 3.
While playing game my mouse lights would just CUT off! The light on the mouse would die and the mouse will just keep shooting (repeating what it was doing last) the gun. I cant move at all or press any buttons... not any side button mouse. In order for the mouse to work i have to unplug it from usb and plug it back in. I said OK and started using ps2 port and it does the same but the light stays on when it dies out now.

edit:
Sadly i searched yahoo for "ms intelli mouse" and the 1st result is "AnandTech Forums - MS Intelli Mouse troubles...

Hmm sounds like it's time for a new mouse. Mice take so much abuse from us don't they? Poor little things.

You may want to open it up and see if the little connector where the cord plugs into the circuitboard has come loose. A good accidental tug on the cord can cause this. I fixed my Logitech MX300 this way after accidentally pulling the cord when leaving for a LAN party. I didn't notice my monitor base was sitting on the cord. 😛
