Diabetes II causes certain parts of your body to die over time right?
Could pain in the top of the elbow - the part of skin where it folds - (for what seems to be no reason) possibly mean the onset of this?

Infection (even though no cut), atrophy?

My dad and many of my relatives have diabetes, usually the first things to go are the extremities, or anything with delicate tissue ie. feet, hands, eyes, kidneys. Usually it begins with a loss of feeling (numbness) in the affected area. I think you should go to a doctor if you are concerned, but if I had to guess I'd say you're over-reacting. Then again, I'm not a doctor and have no medical training :D.

Speaking as a type 2 diabetic, the best thing you can do if you are concerned that you may have it is see your Doc and take a simple 2 minute urine test. This is a very good indicator that will determine if further testing is needed. I suggest this procedure as it is relatively low cost ($25) for those without health insurance.

Do it... the life you extend may be your own....

QFT, found out I was Diabetic pretty much my whole childhood into my teens, and then adult life and didnt catch it till a few years ago. No telling how much damage was done to me. Go get checked out. The pee test or they can do a little blood test (prick on the finger, get your mind out of the gutter) that can tell what you sugar levels have been for the last few months (how they do that I dont know but they can tell).

And if you are, a simple change in diet and lifestyle can reverse Type II.
