Symbolic Link?

Basically it's a shortcut or pointer to another file.

#ls -ld blah
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root root 3 May 17 16:26 blah -> tmp

In this case 'blah' is a symlink to tmp (which happens to be a directory in this case).
