Symbolic Link to a folder over LAN?

Is this possible?

I want to link this iMac's

/Applications/MAMP/htdocs (which doesn't exist)

to my MacBook's actual location:

/Applications/MAMP/htdocs

I'd use sshfs honestly. Make's it easy to connect and disconnect.

Sure, once you mount the remote directory somewhere via something like NFS, SSHFS, CIFS, etc...

I've never heard of any of the above acronyms, lol.

I'll start with googling sshfs..
