Symantec: LiveUpdate and Norton Ghost

I have Norton Ghost 10.0 and everytime I attempt to run LiveUpdate I find updates, I download them but when I attempt to install I get 'fatal error' and it stops. LiveUpdate advises me to try again later.....

any other suggestions?

Live update is a separate entry in add/remove programs, have you tried to uninstall / reinstall the liveupdate component?
