Symantec Ghost or Acronis True Image?

I'm planning to do some major tweaking of my software over this weekend, and in case I completely break my Windows installation, I want to make a backup image of my C drive before I do anything.

Basically, I want to make an image of my C Drive (11GB partition with 3GB used) and store it on one of my other drives. I want to be able to restore this image to my C drive in case I manage to completely screw up my Windows install. I'd really prefer that whatever I use has some way of doing this via a bootable floppy or CD, in case I mess up my Windows installation to the point that it won't boot anymore.

I've used Ghost a bit, but have been told by friends of mine that Acronis True Image is much better software for this task. I'd just like some opinions on the pros and cons of each software (Ghost and True Image), and if anyone has any experience doing what I plan to do. Price is not an issue for me, as I'm much more interested in functionality of the software than saving a few bucks. If you know of any other software that I haven't mentioned that is even better suited for this task, feel free to mention it and give me some ideas of why I should use it.

Thanks for your help!

I use Ghost 2003....nice program, it'll do what you want.
I have used Ghost to restore image I saved to seperate HD, was up and runnin within 10 min. You can create a bootable floopy or cd. You can also restore image from within windows, as long as OS isn't fubar'd.
Can't say anything about Acronis True Image ...never used or heard of it.
